About the Project
CATO Networks is the provider of the world’s first Security Access Service Edge(SASE) platform to secure all enterprise edges - sites, mobile users, and Cloud resources - with one global Cloud-native platform that relies on software instead of the current multi-protocol label switching (MPLS).CATO Networks optimises and secures applications accessible for all users and locations. Using Cato, customers can easily migrate from MPLS to SD-WAN, optimise global connectivity to on-premises and Cloud applications, enable secure branch internet access everywhere, and integrate cloud data centres and mobile users into the network with a zero-trust architecture.What we envisioned 8 years ago is now being formally endorsed by Gartner as the future of network and security. This is a more cost-efficient model that has benefits for networking, as it is scalable and quick.
Required skills:
- 5+ years of client-side or full-stack development, 4+ years with React. We’re using React, Apollo GraphQL, Material UI, TypeScript and more
- Knowledge in server-side development. We’re using Java and Go
- Researching new technologies and adapting them for use in the company’s product
- A team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Motivated fast, independent learner, and great at problem-solving
- Ability to self-learn new skills and technologies
- Upper intermediate English
Scope of work:
CATO Networks seeks an experienced Team Lead Software Engineer to join the CATO Frontend Team. This role requires you to be a critical part of the frontend team, developing our award-winning, Cloud-based proprietary networking and security management solutions. You will do:
- Develop features end to end, from requirements to production
- Improve the quality and performance of our current services
- Help lead the design and implementation of the front end of our product, including large and complex web applications from the ground up
- Performing ongoing research and creating new features and product ideas
- Working closely with product, data, security, UX, and other teams
- Researching new technologies and adapting them for use in the company’s product
