Basic Purpose of the job

  • The Marketinmg Excellence Lead (MEL) provide marketing insight to CA&LS commercial team across all species and contribute making a strategic decision for both commercial team to become more efficient and effective.
  • MEL develop the marketing insight function based on logic which both commercial team agreed with.

Accountabilities

  • Conduct analysis to develop insight which is used to guide marketing strategy and priorities. This will include but not limited to : regular maket and marketing data collection, analysis, action plan recommendation and presentation; market research; database management.
  • Manage all market research and tracking vet panel, pet owner,customer panel and any other panel. Coordinate agreements and fees with outside vendors together with respective Manager and BI Procurement. Includes contract development, ongoing communication with vendor, and contract execution and conclusion. and support the LS farma reserch too.
  • Optimize the usage of marketing insight in commercial team through dveloping and tracking reports (ie: improve existing marketing insight, adopt marketing insight, and lead the govanance meeting with marketing insihgt)
  • Orginazing and workshop with the LS and CA head for educaing them how to use the market data
  • Lead projects to provide solutions for improving marketing insight insight
  • Addresses them beyond the own duties when other tasks assigned by management.

Required Capabilities

  • Bachelor (preferably Masters) of Commerce, Business, Marketing, finances or related discipline
  • An affinity with Life sciences (including Animal Health)
  • 3-5 year's experience in market research, business operations, operational marketing and/or marketing support to senior management.
  • Proficient in computer software programs (e.e. MS Office, Exel and Power-Point, Tablue )
  • Excellent data analysis, interpretation and presentation skills.
  • Good writing and speaking skills in English.
  • A strong personal drive, sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure, timeline aware and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent capacity to influence and effectively work with external agencies and cross-functional departments, including Finance, Legal, Veterinary Technical Service, Sales force, Global and regional Marketing and Business intelligence.
  • Research and develop strategies and action plans which identify marketing opportunities and new project developement.
  • Collecting, analysing and reporting monthly market and business information.
  • Outgoing personality with strong service provision approach.
  • An awareness and acumen for working amongst different cultures.
