Initiating and following the import / export and transit activities which are carried out at Turkish Customs by means of Company Customs Brokers. At the same time creating instructions via SAP and checking, approving and getting cost documents recorded in company financial statements in due time.

What part will you play?

• Completing the import & export & transit transactions efficiently on time and in full harmony with organizational policy & guidelines and with all relevant laws and rules, doing the necessary followings and giving the feedbacks to order management and related units. Clarify open issues and conceptual requirements from order management on daily basis
• Checking and forwarding the custom instructions to the Customs Agency companies
• Checking and forwarding the consignment instructions to the forwarder companies, handling and following up the organization for export and transit transactions through coordination with order management, logistics department, customs agency companies, and forwarders. Sending the export documents to receiver companies if requested
• Creating the payment requests via SAP, getting payment documents sent to the banks and tracking the related payments with banks and customs
• Creating requests for customs tax payments to Customs via SAP, tracking the related payments with banks and Customs agency companies
• Faciliating timely release of imported goods and dispatching to the warehouses or construction sites with the coordination of order management and customs agency companies
• Checking and confirming the debit advice regarding the customs costs
• If necessary, carrying out the extension procedures for temporary import transactions
• Applying and tracking the necessary permission licenses for the import orders, applying for closure of the licenses for the obtained permissions by preparing necessary closure documents
• Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and conformity of digital archive for data and documentation details of all customs transactions on SAP-SIEMEX tool and carrying out periodical checks in that regard
• Following up the import, export, and customs legislations closely and informing the related order management and business units for the changes in due time
• Help for preparing import export related trainings and process documentation and sharing them with related colleagues from business units
• Carrying out the necessary preparation for internal & external customs audits

What you need to make real what matters.

• Advanced knowledge in import and export, foreign trade, customs processes and relative legislation, basic knowledge in accounting, very good command of English

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or relevant fields
