We looking for a Senior Foreman to work for our client in the construction industry. The Senior Foreman role assumes supervisory responsibilities over workers, materials, and plant on a section of the work. The job presumes communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Requirements:
- Site setting out
- Apply basic mathematics in day-to-day operations
- Apply basic principles of formwork
- Apply basic principles of scaffolding
- Apply basic rules of concrete
- Apply basic rules of construction material
- Carry out pre-concrete inspection prior to formal inspection
- Allocate tasks
- Ensure worker discipline
- Monitor subordinate welfare and report thereon
- Allocate targets
- Clearly communicate requirements
- Control scanning / timekeeping duties
- Deliver information to subordinates
- Give proper tools and equipment to subordinates
- Explain methods to subordinates
- Approve labour hours
- Explain specifications to subordinates

Qualification
- Matric
- Engineering qualification
- At least seven years civil experience – site based (in the Rustenburg/Brits/Gauteng area).
- Min 3 years related experience in the construction/Engineering environment
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: R40,000.00 - R45,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Rustenburg, Limpopo: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
- Bachelors (Preferred)
