What we're looking for
We're seeking a talented Product Designer to join our team as the first designer at ZenML. In this role, you will work closely with our product and engineering teams to create intuitive, user-centric designs for our MLOps framework. This is a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on the product and user experience as an early member of our design team.
Responsibilities
Design and create intuitive, human-centric flows and experiences for our web platform and open-source tooling.
Develop a deep understanding of the unique requirements and constraints for machine learning workflows and apply this knowledge to create exceptional user experiences.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and build new features for our platform.
Create and maintain a design system that ensures consistency and scalability across our products.
Develop high-fidelity prototypes and visuals to bring designs to life.
Deliver pixel-perfect mockups and design specs while maintaining design quality in shipped products.
Communicate cross-functionally to drive alignment around design direction.
Advocate for user-centered design principles and help establish design best practices within the company.
Conduct user research to understand user needs and pain points, and use insights to inform design decisions.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio that showcases your design process and problem-solving skills.
Strong visual, UI/UX, and data visualization skills.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and experience conducting user research.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design decisions and rationale with cross-functional teams.
Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
A background in machine learning or data science is a plus.
Bonus: Designed products for technical users.
Bonus: Built data-heavy applications and dashboards.
