Saigon Bakehouse Group commenced about 20 years ago and is involved in the bakery production and wholesale of a comprehensive range of cakes, pies and various pastries and bread-related products in the Greater Brisbane Metropolitan area bounded by the Gold Coast, Toowoomba, and the Sunshine Coast. We are one of the largest privately owned retail bakery operators in Brisbane and employ some two hundred staff members and operate two production centers and 12 retail bakeries.
With some 900 wholesale customers, Saigon Bakehouse supplies a range of freshly made products on a wholesale basis to coffee shops, clubs, bakeries, and hospitality businesses in the Greater Brisbane area as well as to its own 12 retail bakery stores in Brisbane suburbs.
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Bakery Assistant to join our team to service our Brisbane market.

About the role
Bakery Assistants will serve customers at counters where baked goods are sold. Their responsibilities include greeting customers, providing advice, taking orders, and packaging baked goods.
Responsibilities
You will need to possess the following:
● Assist day-to-day operations of the bakery
● Providing excellent customer service
● Merchandising the bakery and café products
● Ensure a high standard of café presentation and store’s cleanliness
● Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses
● Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed
Requirements
● Hospitality experiences including customer services is essential
● Excellent communication and organisational skills
● Excellent problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude
● Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
