Verity is the global leader in autonomous indoor drone systems. Our integrated inventory tracking system enables zero-error warehousing for retailers, third-party logistics providers, and manufacturers.
We are currently looking for an ambitious student to join our team focusing on the optimal coordination of our drone fleet. Relevant topics include:
- Optimization
- Multi-agent coordination
- Resource allocation
- Exploring the fundamental performance limit

What you'll do
- Literature review
- Formalization of the optimization problem
- Implementation of the most promising approaches
- Benchmarking of example scenarios
- Documentation and presentation of results
What you bring
- BSc Degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or relevant field.
- Solid background in optimization (e.g. ETH lecture: Introduction to Mathematical Optimization)
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with Python programming
- Additional plus:
- Experience with optimization frameworks
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
