Position: Tyre Picker
Location: Rockmills, County Cork
Salary: €18 per hour
About the Role: As a Tyre Picker, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our tyre recycling plant. Your primary responsibility will be to select and sort used tyres, ensuring that only suitable tyres are processed for recycling. You will work closely with the recycling team to maintain a safe and organized working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and pick used tyres based on their condition and type.
- Remove any non-recyclable materials from the tyres.
- Work in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with general maintenance and cleanliness of the recycling facility.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tyre Picker or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of tyre types and conditions.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy tyres.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean workplace.
