Art Consultant – Contract
Job Description
Sutton Art Consulting has an exciting opportunity for the right person to assist with an art consulting project for a five star hotel brand from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Mostly work from home and attend regular internal as well as client meetings together.
- Study and understand the concept and designs provided by the interior designer.
- Preparation of the following documents: Artwork Concept, Design Development, Artwork Schedule and Specifications.
- Research and source suitable artworks for the project, keeping in mind the allocated budget.
- Assist with the supervision of the art commissioning, procurement and installation processes.
Job Requirements
- Must hold recognized qualification within Interior Design, Art History or Graphic Design.
- Must be competent in Microsoft Office applications. InDesign is a bonus.
- Willing to occasionally travel to Indonesia
- Able to commit to the project from start to finish is a must
- The individual should be based in Singapore

- A strong sense of responsibility towards the project.
- Able to work independently and in a small team in order to meet deadlines.
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Possess a great sense of Creativity, Initiative and Reliability.
- Enjoy the collaborative process brainstorming.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years experience in art consulting for hospitality spaces.
- Experience sourcing artists/artisans in SE Asia is preferred.
