Job Description:
Our client is seeking an HR Specialist to provide the company with the best practices regarding Human Resource Development initiatives and to assist with the implementation thereof.

Responsibilities:
Provide the company with HR Processes and Procedure documentation.
Ensure efficient application of all company HR Policies and company standards.
Comply with the Legislation (BCEA, Labour Relations Act, EE Act, Skills Development Act, POPIA, etc.)
Provide information and advice regarding legislation that may impact employment issues. Etals
Liaise and administrate processes between the company and Service Providers
Implement and maintain appropriate remuneration strategies.
Liaise with the Finance Department regarding cost centres changes.
Maintain and update Organisational Structures on SAP
Compile employee turnover statistics and make recommendations to management on findings.
Compile employee engagement analyses and make recommendations to management on findings.
Assist with recruitment and selection processes and procedures.
Ensure completion of all necessary documentation of employee's service (Exit Medical, Record of Service, UIF Card etc.)
Prepare for internal and external audits.
Compile Business Unit related monthly reports as requested.
Compile and submit all legal and legislative reports as required by various institutions.
Keep stakeholders and management informed of all progress, deviations, statuses, risk factors and any other aspects requiring reporting.
Research alternative HR systems and processes and make recommendations.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

Relevant Degree or National Diploma in a Human Resources related field.
4 years relevant experience in the mining / smelting environment.
Demonstrate and apply an understanding of all applicable HR and HRD Legislations eg: Basic Conditions of Employment Act (Act 75 of 1997), Labour Relations Act, POPIA and Skills Development Act.
SAP and any other HR electronic systems.
