What We Do in The Marketing Function
We help companies grow with Marketing business development cross the industry, and drive the delivery of the organization’s brand promise to its customers on all digital platforms. Typical projects are set out to understand and address the needs of the wider marketing organization as the below:
Define and drive the transformation of client’s Marketing capabilities to enable client’s growth while optimizing marketing investments.
Define the vision for a growth strategy and apply market insights to frame future opportunities.
Define and implement market investments, cost savings and/or revenue growth.
Define strategies for brand & creative, content production and intelligent marketing performance.
Design global to local full funnel operating model for the marketing function of the company.
Define strategies for connected marketing platforms such as martech, adtech and GenAI.
Create global digital experience strategy in all digital touch points.
Create data driven marketing strategies and playbooks to accelerate and support global client local markets.
Help business executives manage decision making under a high degree of uncertainty
Create value cases, business cases connected to future opportunities in marketing. Followed by strategy, roadmap, and plan to get there.
The Work
As a Marketing Transformation Manager you will be responsible for the sales and Marketing Origination cross key clients in the Nordics, with a team you build around the projects. These will be supported by our specialist subject matter experts. You will find yourself collaborating with a great number of diverse professionals at the client and within Accenture Song. You will focus on building close client relationships, and act as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact within Accenture and within the scope of your projects. You will also be responsible for finding new project opportunities and drive these initiatives end-to-end. Specifically, you will be in charge of sales origination, structuring, planning (incl. staffing), leadership, and quality assurance for strategic Marketing projects. You will often need to think across projects and value streams, and understand how Accenture Song goes to market, how we do business and how the financial model works to ensure project and long-term profitability. You will independently support your clients, take responsibility for presenting key marketing project results to client decision makers (incl. C-suite), and agree on the next steps. Our clients operate all over the globe, this may require travel internationally (mainly in Scandinavia) as well as within the country of residence. You will have the chance to apply your entrepreneurial skills and passion to advance our Customer Practice by contributing with your functional and industry expertise as well as driving recruiting and people development. Specifically, you will be expected to demonstrate commitment to leading by example and coaching team members, mentees (counselees), and others by providing support, insight, and guidance. In turn, you will be guided by a dedicated career counsellor that will help you craft your individual career and learning path to advance your professional development.
Required background and experience
Strong motivation and aspirations to help companies and client’s turn disruption into opportunity through marketing strategies that enable them to successfully execute with equal strength across growth, profitability, sustainability, and trust.
Minimum 8-10 years of Marketing origination consulting experience with focus on crafting marketing strategies and shaping relevant business and technology transformations.
M.Sc. in the fields Business, Strategy, Economics or Marketing, with an excellent academic track record
You have demonstrated a strong skillset that includes marketing analytical and quantitative problem solving, executive communication of complex ideas, understanding of data and technology, and financial acumen
Proven experience in developing, mentoring and inspiring team members
Proven experience managing teams of more than 5 people and individual accountability for successful project delivery is a requirement. Experience acquiring and end-to-end delivery of consulting projects is an advantage
Knowledge and experience data-driven marketing
A broad understanding of full funnel marketing inl brand, content, paid media, CRM and personalization is an advantage.
Knowledge and experience of the leading customer-related technologies such as Google, Meta, Adobe, Salesforce etc. is an advantage
Fluent in English and Swedish, being able to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
