Boeing Dreamlifter Operations (DLO) is seeking a Dreamlifter Site Operations Integrator (fixed term contract) to be a stationed at the Taranto-Grottaglie Airport, Italy. DLO operates a fleet of 747-400 Large Cargo Freighter (LCF) aircraft and unique ground support equipment responsible for transporting 787 production articles to final assembly in the USA.
Position Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-
Supplier oversight and management of all DLO infrastructure, assets and processes located at the Taranto-Grottaglie Airport and/or subleased operations areas.
- Responsible that assets and infrastructure are being used/operated in accordance to contract
- Responsible for upkeep and appearance of DLO site infrastructure

Acting as primary DLO point of contact for suppliers, customers and other program leaders.

- Global Trade Controls
- Transportation Warehousing and Logistics
- Cargo handling and rotable tooling management, (Recurring and Emergent)
- Daily acceptance, delivery, transfer and storage logistics
- Retention of cargo handling documents and records
- Daily metrics and reports
- Flight and Cargo schedule coordination with Italian Customs and all Cargo stakeholders

Oversight of all contracted operations and service providers
- Directly engaging site stakeholders, partners and subcontractors with new concepts and strategies as well as leading investigations, initiating assignments and driving resolution in cases that business or operational expectations are not being met.
- Plan and execute to annual budget, process invoices and manage payments in a timely manner
- Conduct regular performance, operations and infrastructure audits
- Coordinating site access for all DLO visitors, VIPs and tour groups
The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at DLO’s Leonardo leasehold located at the Taranto-Grottaglie Airport. Team member should be expected to travel 10% of the time to complete critical training and needs within the organization.
This position will be hired on a 1-year fixed term contract with possibility to convert to an open-ended contract, subject to business conditions and individual performance.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Work experience in either Airline’s cargo operations or Supply Chain Management or Freight forwarding industry
- Native-level written and oral communication skills in Italian and business level written and oral communication skills in English
- Possess positive and flexible mindset to tackle/overcome challenges
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Italian Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- More than 7 years of work experience in Airline’s cargo operations, Export & Import process, regulatory requirements for International Air transportation
- Project management experience
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Belonging to “Categorie Protette” L.68/99 art.1
